Paris Sans Mon Amor II

Snap Champagne and the Marvel of Mont St Micheal.
Its low tide...
A Nord Coreen is by 8960 miles away by missile trajectory....this is what le Parisien is saying to us on its inside.
Europe certainly isn't panicky and the metro disruptions and ISIS and the crust and insides of croissants are more nearer concerns than a very strange side of the world and human nature.
I navigated through the complex St Lazare to Chalet to find a C&A store...my delivery arrived here earlier...after picking up on the street next to a press corner a man is roasting some time of nuts on a burner.
"Ici cést quoi... "
My ici is icey it freezes his thicking....then he smell a stranger's mouth watering for his nuts.
"Due Euro"
"Un Euro"
"Ici cést legume ou cést fruit"
"Cést mange Portugal"
A nut from Portugal...another cousin of the popular Spanish Khaki fruit that is a stable in this city.
My Portugese friend kindly lowered his the amount of nuts as I offered him une Euro.
After leaving the C&A at Rue Rivoli Gothic Gravity seizes me. Exiting Chalet I spot a tower, its gargoyles about to leap in the air and fly like batman.
As I near it the cold weather sends hot mange Portugal in to mouth.
with helps me not to appear to agape at the marvel structure....its is the St Jaques tower.

Chartes
Yesterday I arrived Chartes the home to this.....
......Gothic wonder! Chartes is its Catherdral the most well preserved Gothic cathedral in le'monde.
It stained glass windows are the world's finest. It's history is little know to me, but I made it a must see.
I took the 15:06 SNCF from Gare Monteparnasse and arrived a hour later. It cold but the steples prodded me to approach once I disembarked. An open esplanade (and stepples) seem to say centre ville. A merry go round sings Merry Christmas from the lips of Chartes childern.
Not until I stand near to the once holy pilgrim path do I see that the merry go round is above a merry underground....
A six story spiral for adult entertainment. There is a memorial, a petit petit Arc D'Triumph dedicated to Childern is across the rue.
Stepples bid me to walk, it almost 16:30. Would a tour guide still be at the Catherdral? A few corners and I see the first tourist shop.
The properities is kniting. A scarf, mittens, a headwarmer?
"La catherdral cést ouviri maintenat?
"Yes its opened until 7:30."
"Iya d une guide pour le tourists maintenant."
"I don't know."
Her shop typical touristy with these netherworld visitors.
I am now at a universe of symbols. The entrance to Chartes is a medieval reve. At the foot is a vises pieces with Christ in the center of a Providential Eye, (I not professor of symbols 😎but its looks like an eye. )
A placard tells me it too late for a guide tour. But I can see people going inside..and their's a door on both sides of the left and right of the haloed entrance with opposing pivots heavy and well tensioned by heavy springs.
"Vous voulez entree"
And a Muslim enters the world most spectacular cathedral with a bag.
